Creating test plan

Before launching an experiment, we need you to prepare a test plan. A test plan outlines the goals, setup, and success criteria of your experiment.

Your test plan should include the following:

1. Experiment Details

Basic information such as the experiment name, variant name, website, start/end date, visitors, and platform (e.g., web or mobile).

2. Background and Description

Brief context about why the experiment is being run. Include any relevant insights, past results, or business motivations.

3. Hypothesis

A clear statement of what you expect to happen and why. This helps define the purpose and expected outcome of the test.

4. Success Metrics and Supporting Metrics

Define the primary metric used to evaluate success (e.g., RPV or conversion rate), along with any secondary metrics that help provide additional context (e.g., CTR, search activities rate, PDP visit rate).

5. Screenshot of Variants

Include visual references for each variant, showing the differences between the control and the test version(s).

6. Involved Parties

List key stakeholders and team members responsible for the experiment, such as brand owners, developers, and analysts.

Please find below the preview of Test Plan template, please follow your standard escalation process to access this template.
